Sexy Hockey Player

Check out this sexy hockey player I saw the other day! Who is that guy anyway?

Evan signed up to start playing hockey on Monday nights. It has been a long time since he has had time to do something he wants to and its been even longer since he last played hockey. Yesterday we went to the peaks for some drop in hockey. This picture is of Evan after he played and was getting ready to leave the ice. We had a lot of fun watching Daddy. The girls stood on the bleachers and chanted "GO DADDY GO!!!" And Rylie informed us after the game that when she grows up she wants a pink and purple hockey stick so she can play like Daddy.

My first day in the salon

So, last night I was able to take my first clients in the salon. It took me a minute to get organized while doing Amy's hair but after Mckenna's and Kendall's hair I was feeling pretty comfortable. I am excited to get to know Star (the salon owner) better. It will be so much fun and now that I don't have to be there every night to get hours I really am enjoying doing hair. I am excited to take new clients and to begin to build my clientele. So, give me a call if you need your hair done.

American Idol here I come!

Saige LOVES to sing! She sings in the mornings before anyone else gets up, at night long after she is supposed to be asleep and pretty much any time in between. She sings song after song and then when she runs out of songs to sing she starts making them up. She is so cute!

Shear Serenity

I will now be renting a station in my friends salon and am now taking clients! I have also decided on a salon name "Shear Serenity." What do you think? Keep an eye out for my upcoming website : www.myshearserenity.com or www.shearserenity.net

Welcome baby Drew

I am so excited for Amy and Silas to welcome their new little one to the family. Andrew (Drew) Keaton Woolery was born last Monday evening. He is so cute and chubby and Rylie and Saige completely adore him. They wake up each morning and ask if we can go to the hospital to see "baby Dwew." Amy and Silas will be great parents and Drew is lucky to have them. Now we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Taylor and Jill's twin girls scheduled to be born on the 17th. This will bring our total April birthdays within the immediate families to 7 within 2 weeks. YAY! We love babies and birthdays!!

Finally Finished!!

After 2 long years of not seeing my husband, not having family dinner, and not putting my kids to bed at night I am finally finished with school! YAY!!! It kind of seams surreal at the moment. I have had all of these great ideas that were or seemed impossible while going to school.

First, I should clean my house! Considering that it has been neglected since we moved in I should probably spend the next week cleaning.

Second, Lets potty train Saige. I am so tired of diapers and would like a break before we consider having another child. She suprised me yesterday when I asked if she needed to go potty and put her on the potty and she went! I finished school yesterday at 4:30 and before she went to bed at 8 she had gone potty 4 times! YAY!! We'll see how she does today.

Third, Say goodbye to the binky. With Rylie we were strict with the rule that after 1 year she could only have it in bed and at 18 months it was gone for good. With Saige it hasn't been so easy. First of all she is really attached to it and whats worse is that Evan and I have been really attached to it. Neither of us wanted to fight her all night when she wakes up wanting her bink. We've been too tired!

Fourth, Interview preschool teachers for Rylie. I got her registered in a preschool in my neighborhood but now I need to go check it out for sure. I've heard a lot of great things about the preschool from mom's of other students so I feel pretty good about it. But, someone else's word is not good enough for me so I will need to get it checked out.

I'm sure I can think of a few other things that need to be done now that I am free from the confines of Dallas Roberts Academy, such as till and plant a garden, plant flowers, paint baseboards, casings, and moldings for my house, clean out the basement etc. These things will come with time. But first we need to have a family dinner and some consistency at home.

I am so excited to feel in control of my time....well, to feel that the girls have control of my time at least.
